ACC offers telehealth counseling for Alaskans seeking health, wellness, and balance. ACC specializes in working with Alaska's first responders.

We are based in Juneau, but provide counseling services in-person and via tele-health across Alaska using a HIPAA compliant version of Zoom. We specialize in working with first responders and healthcare providers with a wide range of concerns including: trauma, depression, anxiety, work related stress, relationship issues, substance abuse, and other stressors. We use a variety of techniques including: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Motivational Interviewing.

Chaplains are a light in the darkest of hours. Our Chaplains respond to crises of all types. They are on the scene providing support to first responders who witness and provide aid to people in crisis, experiencing life threatening events and suffering trauma. With a mission to offer assistance in the form of emotional support, information, and resources to emergency personnel and to survivors, their commitment is unwavering.

Additional Organizations

Many agencies in Alaska use their in-house clinicians. However we do have a list below of other mental health professionals for agencies that do not have in-house clinicians. This is a general list of providers that you may choose from. However, we cannot guarantee that they are all geared towards emergency responders nor do we have first hand experience / relationships with them. These providers have indicated that they do work with emergency responders and have availability. Please identify yourself as an emergency responder when contacting these organizations.
